ExpoMassDat investigates how people, especially pregnant women and children, are exposed to mixtures of environmental chemicals in everyday life. The project combines high-resolution mass spectrometry and related techniques with advanced data analysis to identify and quantify endocrine-disrupting chemicals, including pesticides, PFAS, plastic-related compounds and other pollutants in human samples.

By improving human biomonitoring tools and studying vulnerable populations across Europe, ExpoMassDat aims to generate evidence that supports environmental health research, risk assessment and prevention.

ExpoMassDat is funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities (Agencia Estatal de Investigación) and the European Union through NextGenerationEU, under the 2023 Consolidación Investigadora call. Grant reference: CNS2023-143649
